”I have been part of the Universal Retirement plan with Hansard for about eight years, and once it had initially been set up, I pretty much did not pay any attention to what was happening to it for five years or so. During that time a lot of the initial funds I was investing in were not giving much growth or had ceased to grow at all. Despite this, no one from the initial company I had set the scheme up with had bothered to contact me about reviewing my funds or generally how my scheme was progressing.
Jason Hurst and ISG were recommended to me by a friend, and he met with me to discuss my plan fairly promptly after I first mailed. Jason made immediate recommendations about which funds I should cease to invest in, and which funds to invest in from this point on. The explanations were very clear and easy enough for someone like me who has no economics background and very little knowledge of how stocks and the market work to understand. Jason very simply explained what documents I needed to sign, and then took care of the transfers for me. It was all very painless. Thanks to his advice, my plan is heading in a much better direction, and I can visibly see the funds growing, whereas before they were stagnating.
What has most impressed me about Jason and ISG is that he regularly keeps in contact with his clients, either through meeting them directly to give a rundown on how your plan is going, or through regular emails, highlighting major moves in the market, and good investment opportunities. He also regularly recommends new schemes that he thinks might suit your financial situation, which is really helpful. Another great thing about ISG is that you can log in to their home page anytime and view for yourself regular statements from (in my case) Hansard.
I have known Jason now for just over two years, and I have found him to be very friendly, knowledgeable without being overbearing, prompt in replying to enquiries, and most importantly, trustworthy. I am very comfortable with my Hansard plans being in his hands, and recently under his advice have just started a life insurance scheme through Hansard.”

“I have been a Zurich saving plan account holder for quite some years and to be honest there was a time I did not feel happy about it. This was mainly because of the agent handling my account. In the tough turmoil years of 2008/2009 where I really needed a helping hand with my portfolio I did not receive any substantial support from him. Instead of saving money I was loosing money. This was surely to a large amount thanks to Jason Hurst from ISG, who I was luckily introduced to by a friend when not only the same plan was down about 15%, but I also was really unhappy with the way my former advisor treated my investment and my concerns. “ I’m writing this testimony to express my appreciation to Jason Hurst, a financial planner with International Solution Group (ISG). In 2005, I started a Zurich savings plan with a Tokyo based financial planner, to fund my retirement. In early 2010, after 5 fruitless years I changed financial planners and decided to use Jason Hurst. Although I have only been using ISG since early 2010 I am more than satisfied with not only the direction my investments are heading in but also the level of service offered by Jason Hurst.
The 5 years spent with the former financial planner were an extremely frustrating and disappointing period, both financially and mentally. During this period irrespective of market performance my investments never changed. Despite having under performing stocks and communicating my unhappiness a number of times I was always sent a variation of “these stocks are well placed for the future, I recommend you hold them”. Never was I advised as to my investment options or the reasons why I should keep the stocks. I was left with the feeling that given I was a small investor my portfolio wasn’t of real concern. My frustration caused me to suspend my contributions for over 1 year and if it weren’t for the termination penalty clause I would have cashed out the policy.
In early 2010 a friend of mine recommended I contact Jason Hurst and after talking to him I decided to change financial planners. It was definitely the correct decision as Jason has provided me with efficient, reliable, first rate service. Unlike previously, Jason has always asked as to my financial goals and then explained the investment options, a practice that has let me make informed decisions. Also, taking advantage of the weak US dollar he has shown me how to get more value from my plan. I’ve also been pleased with ISG’s customer focus, a focus that ensures there is regular contact and an offering of information and services to the customer.
I understand that financial planning isn’t an exact science but I have confidence that Jason is not only actively trying to get the best return for me but is available to provide advice and information when needed. Due to these reasons I have no hesitation in recommending Jason Hurst as a financial planner.”
